I am looking for information on Charlotte HERSEY who married Dennison Cox 1842 Saint John. Dennison was the son of Charles Cox and Olive Kennedy but I cannot find anything on Charlotte's family.

What is interesting is the degree of contradictions regarding Charlotte. A Charlotte Amelia Hersey was baptized Hampstead Parish 1825 and b. 10JUN1801, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Hersey. In 1871, in Saint John Co., NB, she was b. ca. 1820. At:
http://www.ancestry.ca/genealogy/records/charlotte-amelea-he...
she is b. 10JUN1821.

Samuel would appear to have been Samuel Hersey (b. ca. 1776, d. 1851), s/o Samuel and Lydia (Clarke) Hersey. Samuel , Jr. m. Elizabeth Mayes (Maize). He was age 75 years in Wicklow Parish, Carleton Co., NB in 1851. In 1861 he was something like Samuel 'Herzie' (transcribed as Samule Herzio') b. NS ca. 1791? in Wicklow Parish. Samuel 'Hursy' m. Hampstead Parish 13JUN1802 Elizabeth Mayes, so the 1801 birth for Charlotte appears to be incorrect. It would be very easy to read '1821' as '1801'.

Samuel, Sr. was from Yarmouth, NS and moved his family to Gagetown ca. 1776 after being attacked by American privateers.

It's a bit tentative, but it seems that Dennison's wife was most likely Charlotte Amelia Hersey b. Hampstead Parish, Queens Co., NB 10JUN1821.

Thomas that was pretty much my assumption too. The dates would make sense,as Charlotte and Dennison married 1842 in Saint John(PANB archives). So her family came from Nova Scotia too,and they lived in Carleton County,New Brunswick. I'll have to look into this more, and maybe I can find burial records there. Would you happen to know the origin of this surname as well? Thanks for your assistance in this,I've been really stumped.
