Dear Mrs. DiNanni,
My dad was Louis Dinanni's cousin, their Grandfathers were brothers. I am Rosemary DiNanno Twomey and I live in the Chicago suburbs.
I know you are not researching the DiNanni family but I believe you were married to my younger cousin, Tom DiNanni, originally of Milwaukee.
I had located his mom, Celia, in Milwaukee just before she died and, in our telephone call, she sobbed too much when she tried unsuccessfully to talk about about him. She focused on his Dad's estate which his attorneys kept for themselves... Wrongly, she was certain Louis wanted everything to go to Tommy. I hope the same thing didn't happen after she died.
Unfortunately, when I tracked Tommy down on the Internet I found his obituary along with many items from his newspaper career in Minneapolis. I thought he had children but only my Mom would have known and she died in 1988.
I think I last saw him at my wedding in 1951 when he was probably 8 or 9 with blond hair and huge brown eyes. He was a beautiful boy and a bit younger than my little brother, Jim. But their family continued to visit my folks every year until the divorce.
