Narcisse Croteau (b. May 24 1935 - Quebec Canada) married Marie Touissaint (De Bourbon). Marie Touissaint was a decendant of the royal line of the Bourbons of France, her family being expelled at the time of the French Revlolution, about 1790.

Jean Baptiste Touissaint and his brother left France and went to St. John, New Brunswick Canada. Jean Baptiste lived with the Indians and married an Indian woman. They had one son, Jean-Baptiste Touissaint. The son became a blacksmith. He married and had a daughter Marie. Not sure if there were other children. Marie married Narcisse Croteau in Canada. Narcisse was a shoemaker.

In 1868, Narcisse and Marie moved to Brockton Massachusetts.
