Geo. Grant recd with Samuel Grant land grant #613 -190 acres possibly at Dalhousie 15 June 1812. George Grant m. Sarah Wood, issued several children, including:
i. John Grant. married Marguerite Nadeau nee 1798 rg Carleton 20 April 1825.
ii. Sarah Adelia Grant. * Dalhousie NB 1 May 1802 - died Maine c1889 m locally c1818 Charles Alexander McPherson (d. Maine 1868).
iii. Guillaume Grant * 11 May 1806 B. rg Restigouche.
iv. Annabelle Stewart Grant. * 3 August 1810.
v. Christina Grant. married John Wall, native of Ireland, rg Carleton 1 Oct. 1839.
vi. Anne Grant. * 28 Dec 1818 rg Carleton.
---Other possible descendants or close relatives include:
-Mary Ann Grant married Peter Stewart, both of Addington Parish, married by James Steven, Presbyterian Minister 3 Sept. 1832.
---James Grant born c1819 married Margaret McLaggan both of Dalhousie, at Eel River 26 Nov. 1846, the couple appear in the 1851 census at Colborne Parish James 32, Margaret 25, had at least one child, a son, John Grant, age 1.
--Malcolm Grant born c 1825 married Mary Anderson, Restigouche County, 30 August 1858. 1871 census Malcolm Grant is a widower, residing with Ann Anderson, age 34, born Quebec.
--David Grant married Mary Smith, Restigouche County, 4 August 1873.

There is also a newspaper notice 12 Sept. 1895 of a death of George Grant, at "Dalhousie, NS" [sic] who died 9 August 1895 age 71, left one sister.
I seem to recall a marriage of a Miss Grant with Mr Brown of Miguasha.
