I am looking for any relatives of a James A. Belyea and his wife Janet. They were living in Speights Corner, Queens County, New Brunswick 1904. James had applied for a boy around 9 years old from the Middlemore Home in England.
My Grandfather John Alexander Rowley, came to work on Mr. Belyea's farm. John, stayed with Mr. Belyea and his wife until he was 19 yrs old and then went into the war and the came back to Saint John, NB where he drove street cars for 25 yrs. He lived at 28 St. Andrew Street, Saint John, for a number of years until he bought a farm in Olinville, Queens County, NB. He stayed there until his property was taken over by the government for the army. There people by the name of Belyea, living on St. Andrew St., Saint John, in the 1930-40's (not sure of the correct years.) This information was told to me by my Aunt. I was born in Saint John, and grew up on St. Andrew St. and also knew of the farm in Queens County, before the army took it over.
I would like to hear from any one that might be able to help me locate and relatives of James and Janet Belyea.
Thank you,
Stephen John Rowley Henderson
