I am searching for information on my great grandmother, Katherine DWYER. She was married to my great grand father, John Robert KERR. From the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick, their application for a marriage license lists their date of marriage as January 27, 1896 in St. John, NB. Katherine was 22 years old, making her born abt 1874, born in Queens County, New Brunswick, was a spinster, religious denomination Methodist, and daughter of Andrew and Annie DWYER.
Sometime between their marriage in 1896 and the birth of their first child, Gertrude R. KERR in 1899, they moved to Massachusetts,USA, possibly Watertown where my grandfather, Charles Andrew KERR was born in 1902. Their last child, Russell T. KERR was also born in Massachusetts in 1907.
Does anyone have any information regarding the DWYER family, or any suggestions where I should look? I'm not terribly familiar with research in Canada.
