Surnames: Queen, Quinn
Why not get a copy of his 1830 petition for land? See:
http://archives.gnb.ca/Search/RS108/Details.aspx?culture=en-...
He may have indicated his origins in that petition. the number 'F4213' refers to a microfilm at the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick at the UNB campus in Fredericton. A Timothy Quinn was granted 200 acres in Glenelg Parish in 1831. Lots 89 ad 90 between Redmondville and St. Margaret's. See:

Whether Timothy was a relative or whether this was Thomas with an erroneous name is uncertain. In 1851 a widow, Mary Queen or 'Qunn' lived in Glenelg Parish and had arrived JUN1825. Thomas arrived about 1822, so there may be a connection. Mary (b. ca. 1771) is said to have been the wife of Patrick Quinn (ca. 1771) and Timothy (d. 25APR1831) was one of their sons.

Thomas.
