McLean/MacLean Escuminac

Surnames: McLean
I am interested in this family in Escuminac:
Donald McLean born 1804 in NB.
Elizabeth born 1808
Their children:
Donald born 1830
Angus born 1832
Barbara born 1837
John born 1838
Hugh born 1841
Margaret born 1844
Isabella (Belvidera?) born 1846
Grace born 1849
Mary born 1860 (grandaughter)
The only one I have been able to trace is Angus who married Annabell McDonald. I'm in the process of filling out the info for that family.
Donald is on the same page in the 1851 census as Michael Carroll who I know married Elizabeth Windle.
Also, on the same page (8) of the census is Hugh McLean born 1807 and wife Grace.
Their children:
John, Margaret, Daniel, Hugh, Jane, James, Mary and Barbara plus Hugh's brother James born 1817 in NB.
Not far away (Pg 6) is John Mclean born 1801 (Pilot) wife Margery and children Donald, Archibald, Margaret, Catherine, Grace, Charles, Alexander, John, Robert and James.
I am trying to find out if any or all were children of Donald McLean and Mary McRae who were the parents of Mary McLean who married Thomas Windle. I suspect that Donald is because his son Angus was a sponsor at the baptism of some Steele relatives.
TIA

Marie McLin aged 19 yrs old baptized on May 1st, 1824 in Escuminac - she is the one married the same year to Thomas Windle. In the marriage certificat the name of Mary's mother seems to be given as Mac Ray but on the baptism paper the name is Paguay McCoy(Peggy is usualy a short name for Margaret).
Another son James baptized on August 15, 1819 son of Donald McLean and Margaret McCoy. In both baptism the name McCoy is really readable without any doubt.
Hope this will be of some help to you.

Thank you. I'm glad I came here for something else because for some reason I got not notification.
May I ask your sources?
I assume Mary was baptized in the Catholic church so she could marry Thomas.
Do you know if James was also baptized Catholic?
Thanks again.

The only source is the catholic record of Escuminac but I guess there is other baptism for the other children in the records of some other parishes nearby. James was also baptized in the catholic record of Escuminac.

I am researching a Black family from Newcastle, NB. One son married a Grace McLean b. abt 1850. I believe she is the daughter of Donald and Elizabeth. I've traced this Grace from Newcastle in 1881 to Boston. Is that one of your McLeans?

I have no idea. In 1881, Grace was no longer with Donald and Elizabeth. I guess by then she married William Black as I found them in Newcastle. I couldn't find a death certificate for Grace in MA. I couldn't really find anything on her at all except in the 1910 census.
If she was mine, she would be a distant cousin.

The only thing I could find was their marriage record on Feb. 7, 1876 by Robert Crisp, Methodist minister in Chatham. Witnesses:Martin McMurray and Bella Munn McLean. Could find nothing in my usualy sources for Bella but I didn't check the census.
Also marriage records for Hugh, John and Thomas Black.

Lisa: The only Archibald McLean I found in the 1851 census for that area was Archibald born 1831 son of John and Margery (likely Cameron). Is this your Archibald?
