What happened to Thomas, William, and James Black, sons of Helen (Ellen)Crosbie and William Black who came to Douglastown from Scotland in the 1840's? William Sr, died before the 1851 Census was taken; William Jr. may have married Grace McLean.

I am curious if Helen/Ellen was related to the Crosbies who already lived there.
At any rate, I am interested in Grace McLean. Her death record says she is d/o Donald McLean and Elizabeth McGinnis/McInnis of Scotland but her birthdate doesn't fit that family. I believe she was d/o of Donald and unknown. but raised by Donald and Elizabeth, her grandparents and was called Mary. The Grace McLean in that family doesn't fit for dates.
It looks like they moved to Maine. I haven't investigated that far, yet.
At familysearch:
Grace M. Black, widow
w/o William W. Black died May 30, 1917 in MA.
However, a marriage record for an unknown daughter in the Maine marriage records list Grace as living in Augusta, Maine. Either there was no date or I forgot to copy it down. The daughter's name was missing, though.
