My grandfather Thomas Pete Ronan was born 1868 in New Brunswick. He immigrated to California and married Grace Emma Courtney around 1896 and died in San Francisco August 22,1911. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad as a machinist. His parents are listed as Peter and Bridget...however his name on the 1871 census is listed as Patrick.
Mary Symoth is listed as the second wife of Peter Ronan. Information states that she married Peter two years after Bridget...1865. From the research I found she did not have any children, yet all four of Peter and Bridget's children were born in 1864 to 1873.
