I am searching for information on the Hon. James Barnes of
Buctouche, N.B. He was born in 1842 in Ontario, moved to
Shediac and married Julia E. Smith d/o Pamelia and Peter
Smith of Buctouche. The later moved to Buctouche and James
operated an oyster farm.
Also need information on Peter Smith (Julia's father).
