1871 Census - St. Louis – William Thompson, age 25, born in NB, English origin, Farmer, Catholic, wife MARY, age 29 born NB, Irish origin, Catholic, son James - age 4.

They show up in the 1901 Census St. Louis with William Tompson age 60 born Dec 5, 1840, NB, Scotch origin, and wife Mary born July 12, 1840, NB, Iclandic origin.

I need to know the origin of William's parents from the 1891 Census and if anyone knows anything more about this couple, I had thought William was son of James and Elizabeth Robb but have a query regarding...

1901 Census – Addington, Restigouche, NB – William born March 10, 1845, age 55, NB, Scotch origin, wife MARY born June 19, 1842, age 59, son William F, his wife Lilliane, daughter Jenetta, son John. (Mary Woods died in Campbellton 1927) William Thompson BD Mar. 10/1845 Died 1927 Campbellton NB

This family had info that it was William born 1845 who married Mary Wood and he was son of James and Elizabeth Robb so who is the William still living in St. Louis in 1901? The 1891 Census would be very helpful. Thanks
