Looking for information on my g.parents. My g.grandmother was Melanie Poirier. Her maiden name was Vautour and she was born in St. Louis, Kent Co. She married a Poirier and lived in Rogersville. They had a daughter, Delia, in 1886. Poirier passed away around 1889. Melanie remarried Alexander Brun in Northumberland Co., on Nov. 27, 1899. Witnesses were Joseph Belliveau and Emilie Martin. There may have been other children.
