Surnames: McMinn Brown
Hello,

I am researching 13 historical places, with a colleague, within the Town of Richibucto, Kent County, New Brunswick (Canada). From others, I did find in the land deeds and Canada Census the following McMinn's:

Land Deed (1923-1934): John D. McMinn and his wife Zeramiah (house still stands today)
1880's Business Directories: David McMinn (tanner with William Brown)

1901 Census of Canada
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census/DisplayPagePanb.jsp?id=...

1911 Census of Canada
http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/View.jsp?id=1296&...

I've been unable to find detail genealogical information on the above McMinn of Richibucto. Do you have any genealogical facts or references for the above?

Thanks for your support.

Robert Richard

Robert,
A Google Book Search result mentions the retirement of John D. McMinn as collector of Customs and Excise of the Port of Richibucto.

It's just a "Snippet View" of the book.
