I am seeking information on the O'Leary family who settled in Kent County, New Brunswick in the early 1800's. Some of the family settled in Richibucto and Rexton. Henry O'Leary was a prominent New Brunswick businessman in the late 1800's.

Hello, Kerry
I just happened upon your message from March 2001.
I am sure by now you have made great gains in your search. I am from Kent County originally. In the summer of 2002 the local newspaper published a series of articles about Kent History. I saved them. One is on Henry O'Leary and his discovery of the vacuum pack principle. If you would like a copy, let me know and i'll gladly send it to you.

Hi
I am researching a Mary O'Leary who married a Luke Fitzpatrick, and who arrived in Chatham around 1816.They possibly came from Co Wexford, Ireland.
Any possible details or connections much appreciated
Cheers

Hi, Stephen!
What a coincidence to receive a reply from YOU!
I am Annette Tweedie's niece!
I just returned from NB today. I gave my copies of the articles to her when I was at the cottage last weekend. I hear you had a lovely visit :o)
I'm sure Annette will be sending you copies.
Take Care!
Valerie

Hi Valerie
Yes we had a great time in New Brunswick--far too short, but just enough to really reinforce why I/we plan to get back for much longer and really see the countryside as well as do some serious researching.

You can see where my research is now heading: trying to see any O'Leary connections with Luke (father) and Michael (son) Fitzpatrick

Do pass on my name and contact address to anyone researching this extended family in the hope that some more leads will turn up
Regards for now
Cheers
Stephen

Hello,

This Henry O'Leary and vaccum pack, who were the parents?

In addition, I trying to find when Henry O'Leary (1836-1897) built his house on Main Street Richibucto. Today, the house is known under the O'Leary's Inn.
