There are two cemeteries on the island. One is the Keith family's and the other, located close to the ferry landing on the shore facing Millidgeville, is the other one. The surnames on stones are STRAYHORN, HUTCHINGS, CHARLTON, SAUNDERS, REED, CARTER, IRVINE and others with no stones including the JOHNSTONs and possibly the MORROWs, CLARKs and GODDARDs who are listed on the 1862 map as residents. I have never heard of the McCORMICKs having their own cemetery and being Catholics it is likely they were buried in a Catholic cemetery off the island.
