Re: Severe Landry m. Angele Chiasson, Grande-Anse, 1841
As per the site "Nos racines canadiennes": Phoebe Landry's so-called second marriage dated 11 May 1919 was in Grande-Anse, Ile-St-Jean [=PEI], remarkably accomplished only 21 years after her burial in 1898. Phoebe's only spouse Michel Cormier was born 1848 - died 1927. Caveat empor.

I was just able to open this msg. it wouldn't open all weekend. I see there is a Sarah within the correct age range, but the family names don't match. Also, on your other msg you mentions Angeles parents. may i ask where you found that?

Yes, I have. Thank you. The dates are off a little, and her father wasn't English.

Dans ce temps-là, au N.-B., les noms francophones étaient anglicisés. En Gaspésie, des Collins sont devenus Collin.
Avez-vous trouvé l'acte de baptême d'Alexandre Collin?
Merci!
