Sergeant Alfred (Fred) William Anderson was b. Perth, Perth Parish, Victoria Co., NB 10JUL1905 (ca. 1905-6) and died 3JUN1997. He was a member of the Marble Arch Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Plaster Rock, Gordon Parish, Victoria Co., NB. Plaster Rock was the location of Fraser’s lumber mill, and a logging and lumber centre in New Brunswick.
Fred was the son of William Shephard and Nellie (Craig) Anderson. William was from Aberdeen, Scotland. He was b. ca. 1870, the s/o Peter and Isabella Anderson. His family, in the 1911 census, can be seen at:
