John & Nancy Dunbar of Pennfield had at least five children. They were: Jane Dunbar (1826-1893)(m. James McDowell); William Dunbar (ca1831-1853) (not married); Robert Dunbar (ca1836-1899) (m. Jane Crickard); John Dunbar (ca1839-); and James Dunbar (1841-1921) (m. Rebecca Reid).

The 1851 census records for Pennfield list many Mealeys. The head of the households are: Charles Mealey (age 40); Hannah Mealey (widow age 42); Malcolm Mealey (age 55); Roger W Mealey (age 36); & Thomas Mealey (age 24 - a lodger in the Leonard Best household in Beaver Harbour).

Of these individuals: Malcolm Mealey married Delia Woodbury in 1823 & Roger W Mealey married Alice Hues in 1835.
