According to Martha Ford Barto's book: "Passamaquoddy Genealogies of West Isles Families" (1975), Thomas Marvin Lord (1809-1892) was the son of Marvin Lord (1767-1836) & Ruby Newcomb (1770-). Thomas Marvin Lord was married twice (first union was to Sarah Haddon & the second union was to Caroline Rogan of McMaster Island).

From Thomas' first union to Sarah Haddon (1809-1876) there is listed 7 children, among them: Darius O Lord (1831-1903) who married Caroline M Stuart (1832-). Caroline M Stuart was the daughter of William Stuart (1802-1874) & Alice Wallace (1808-1878).

From Thomas's second union to Caroline Rogan there is listed two children: William Henry Lord (1880-1962) & Annie Hazel (Lord) (Foster) Moses (1885-1956).
