I have been researching many of the earlier families from in & around Beaver Harbour since Sept. of 1989. Among those are the Cross, Holmes & Wright families. In 1790 Bellevu was destroyed by a forest fire. The early Quakers didn't beleive in tombstones and when the old Quaker Meeting House burned, all of the old records were lost. The Quaker Burial Ground was beside the Meeting House. What was once the Quaker Burial Ground is now a field with no indication of the graves. I have extensive information on the Cross family & the Wright families, and am willing to share anything I may have that might assist you in your endeavors.
