Hi James,

Mary Jane was born in Woodstock, the daughter of Jesse Bartlett Teed/Tidd and Harriet Jane Dickinson. I will use Teed so I don't have to keep writing both versions.

Jesse was born Aug 13, 1796, and baptised Apr 23, 1797 in Woodstock, the son of Sylvanus and Polly Teed. I am afraid the Teed line is not mine, but Dickinson is.

Harriet Jane was born 1802 in Carleton County, the daughter of Tertullus Dickinson and Thankful Rebecca Chase. Tertullus and Thankful were from Fredericksburg, Duchess County, New York. The Chase line is easy to follow on the web. Harriet Chase's line goes back to Mayflower passenger Stephen Hopkins.

I hope this helps.

Surnames: Dickinson, Teed
Mary Jane Teed appears to be the daughter of Jesse Teed and his second wife, Jane Ann Osburn whom he married 3 June 1830.

I have a baptismal date for Harriet Dickinson of 21 Sep 1797 in Woodstock, marriage to Jesse 31 January 1820. She was mentioned in her father's will of 1824 so her date of death must have been between 1824 and 1830. Unfortunately, I do not have my sources recorded. I do know that I checked the archives at one time. Do you have something different?
Bonnie
