no, no cemetery found. Glad to be of help I puzzled over the Fagan family for a long time - What do you think of Mariah as a sister (married to Joshua Jonah). There seems to be nothing linking them except location (Hillsborough) and the fact that the name Fagan is found only in Albert Co in NB..

It's a reasonable starting point Donna.
Are you in the Albert County area? I've wondered about parish records for awhile, but only get back to the Maritimes from Ontario once a year. I never have the time on those visits to investigate such things.

No, actually I live in Huntsville, Ontario. My husband (it's his family) was from Bathurst

Hi Donna, I am the Kathy, the one Scott had mentioned at the beginning of the two of you discussing Alonzo, Catherine and family..... I am looking through all the discussion and am now going to make a web on my cork board to see all the connections, blanks and possibilities. I know Scott has been working very hard on this, as I but I also have other family research that I have been bouncing over to when the Mac/McFarlane name needs a step back and a clearing of the mind, lol. It's great to have you on board!

Hello Kathy, I am approaching this from the Jonah side since my husband is descended from Martin Jonah and Sophia Lutz, who are the parents of Olive Jonah , wife of Patrick Fagan - and Catherine Fagan McFarlane's parents. (He is actually from the Mary Jonah/James Cusack line)
Although I have the names of the children of Alonzo McFarlane and Alfretta, I have not gone beyond that yet. I have done quite a lot on other parts the McFarlane family and am keen to know anything new or perhaps help with mysteries so please keep me in the loop

Donna, I certainly will and I must say it is nice to know someone else is trying to figure this stumbling block out from another side which bring in the missing piece into perspective. :)
