William A. Taylor
Funeral services for William A. Taylor, a resident of Alaska for 50 years before coming to Seattle two years ago, will be held at 3 o’clock tomorrow in the Bonney Watson Chapel followed by cremation.

Mr. Taylor, 78, died Sunday. He had been ill several months.

Mr. Taylor was a well-known miner in Nome and Fairbanks, Alaska. He has also been a mail carrier and before his retirement in 1944 he operated a grocery in Anchorage. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was a life member of the Pioneers of Alaska. He lived at the Stratford Hotel here. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. A.G. Pothier and Mrs. E.G. Winters, both of Edmonton, Alberta, and Mrs. Lillian Batholomew, Cranbrook, British Columbia; three brothers, Thomas, D.L. and C.S. Taylor, all of Bresaylor, Saskatchewan and a cousin, D.G.A Bannerman, Seattle.
