Of interest, I am trying to identify the family in a photo that says '(Aganath?) Hansen aka August. Emma- Happy New year 1907. Day before sailing to Europe on Nieuw Amsterdam.' Unless the New Year should have been 1908 (if written before the New Year?), then the ship sailed In January, and April 1907 wasn't the maiden voyage?? Other surname found in these family photos is Lemp. (Grandma Lemp w/ Uncle Henry - no last name - --taken at the Neuchatel Rue d' Le hospital in France, near Switzerland and looks to be a generation older); Grandma Lemp has sisters Louise & Emma).
