Yes to all! Thank you so much! I'm only starting to create my family tree, and know very little about my ancestors. My mother Patricia Mary Catherine Reardon, was Louise's twin sister, and Terry, Ken & Larry were her brothers. Mom was very young (under 10) when her parents passed away, and was sent to Sacred Heart Acadamy. I know that her Uncle Charlie (surname George - her mother's brother) cared for the kids for a while before she went to Sacred Heart. Any information you may find is VERY VERY much appreciated!
Thank you so much!
Colleen

From Ancestry.ca:
1916 Census, 543 Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg
REARDON John, head, age 31, born England, immigrated in 1910, Lineman, CNR
Catherine, wife, age 26, born England, immigrated in 1910

John and Catherine were married in 1910 but had no children on the 1916 census.
It’s sad, but one or both of these could have been their sons, from MB Vital Statistics:
REARDON John, died 4 July 1913, Winnipeg, age 1
REARDON Leonard Milton, died 26 Aug 1913, Winnipeg, age 7 months

Manitoba death certificates cost $12.00 each and have parents’ names, cause of death, place of burial, etc.

I haven’t been able to find John and Catherine on the 1911 census but it’s free to search here:

Hi Becky,
Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you could help me by letting me know some more resources. I have signed up to World Vital Records, Geneology.co.uk, and Footnote. Some of them, do not seem great, good I only signed up for 1 month. I am also trying to find family from my Dad's side of the family who were for some time in Scotland, and my husbands family who spent time in the US ......... and I', wondering where is a good place to search for Military Records? One more question......do you have to pay to see original documents, birth certificate, death certificates and marriage liscences?

Thanks so much, have a nice evening!
Colleen

Hi Colleen

I appreciate that this thread is quite old now but you might pick this up.

I am the Grandson of Marie Blackburn nee George who was the sister of Charlie and the George who married a Reardon. My sister and I have done a lot of research and traced the Georges back to a farming community in Wales in the 1770s on the male side and back to 1600s in Scotland on the her mothers side. If you would like any further infgo you can get me on steve@alicehannah.co.uk,

Regards
