"Funeral services for Robert Magowan, 21, who was fatally injured while working at the Royal Alexander hotel, July 29, will be held Saturday afternoon, at 3 o'clock at Kerr's funeral chapel. Rev. John Richardson will officiate, and burial will be made in Brookside memorial park, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Macgowan; James and Agnes, of Newtonwards, County Down Ireland, and John and Margaret Magowan, of Winnipeg. Deceased was born in Ireland, coming to Winnipeg two and a half years ago."
