Sorry I do not have any info on the family. However I can tell you that I also lived on Stradbrook Street in the 60's and that the homes were very big. I do not have any additional info on this person. I had only posted the other obits that were in apaper that I had for a family member.
I did look at the Elmwood Cemetery on line and there are only two Rose's listed so there is probably no grave marker. I think that the only ones listed on the internet are the ones with grave markers.

Manitoba Vital Stats has a marrage on line for a Ruth Edith Oberg to a William Barton Rose on Oct. 26, 1918 in St. Boniface.

Ruth's death is also listed here under Deaths along with Harry Barton Rose.

The William B. and Ernest M. Rose family is on the 1906 Canadian Census for the Northwest territories in Winnipeg at:

Sorry I didn't find Ruth on the Census but only did a quick look it could be a variation of the spelling as well you have to look at all the possibilities.
