Thanks for this information about Edith's brother James. It makes sense that Alexander and Eight would meet through visiting their siblings.

My grandfather John DALGLIESH, as well as his brothers Irv, Frank and Dave all settled around the Weyburn area. My grandfather farmed south of Weyburn.

It also helps me understand why my mom and aunts seemed to personally know "Uncle Sandy" even though he lived in Orangeville, Ontario.
