Greetings Karen:
Sam and Margaret had one son, Charles who was reported to have moved to BC where he died. This was Sam's second marriage and all the children from the first marriage remained in Ontario without contact. Sam died in Brandon and was buried there. The listing of all the grave sites shows his but not Margarets. You have made an excellent suggestion to try to get the actual death certificate. I searched the vital records and received some information but not the details of burial location.
Thanks again.
Ken

Looking for information from the Bowsman history book regarding Arthur Graham and Mamie Georgeman Family. Arthur Graham was William Allan Graham and Margaret Jane McKee's son. Also if there is information on his siblings in the book.
Thanks,
Murray

Good morning, Murray,

There is no write-up in the Bowsman History Book for Arthur Graham. However, if you would like to contact me directly at pellissd@mymts.net I'm pretty sure your Arthur Graham was married to Mayme Jordan, my dad's first cousin.

Surnames: Crosby, Leach
Wow! This thread has been going a long time. And I too have a question. Is either the last name Crosby or Leach listed in the book?

A number of members of both families immigrated to Manitoba over a period of several years ranging from 1915-1924. Most seemed to have returned to the US by 1930. I did find one record listing Elisha & Emmett Crosby in Bowsman River. I'd like to find out for sure where they were and what they were doing. Elisha is my 2nd great grandfather and Emmett my great grandfather.

Thanks for any help,

Carole

Hi Paul,
There is a write-up on the building of the United Church in 1909 and a listing of ministers, including your grandfather. I would be pleased to scan these to you. Unfortunately, the photo included is of the new church built in the mid-60's.

I should be able to find a picture of the old church, and possibly the manse -- in the meantime, if you would like to e-mail me directly at pellissd@mymts.net I will send the scanned pages to you directly.

Regards,
Doreen Pellissier
