My father was Joseph Edward Desroches and born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan.
His mother was married twice and I believe here first name was Marie and they lived in The Pas, Manitoba.
He had two sisters Jean and Alice and a brother Emile and a step brother named George.
My grandmother I was told ran a hotel in The Pas that kept the indian women from the reservation until the train came to take them to Winnipeg.
I have very little information about my dad's side of the family.
