That's brilliant. I have no idea of the correct spelling and don't know how the family decided to spell it this way. My Dunnison chum assumed she was Ukranian, I had thought, but perhaps his father had known that. I have been a family history researcher for many years, but this is the first time I have been presented with a Ukranian challenge, so there is lots to learn on this hunt. And because I have spent very little time in Manitoba, having lived in Ottawa all my life, I am especially flumoxed.
