Looking for information and other decendants. My Great Grandfather was Jacob J Gertzen and was born around Morden,MB in the 1890's and later came to the northern plains of the U.S. and met my Great Grandmother Katherine King. They later settled and had a family in Lafayette, Indiana. The information I have is that his fathers name was also Jacob and his mothers name may have been Katrina and that they were Mennonites born in Russia.
