I apologize in my delay in answering your message. I do not know for sure if we are related. From the top, what year was your Father, John Boyd Edwards, born? Do you have a year of birth for your Grand Father,Percy Charles Edwards? I am just trying to get a timeline. I have just found the one family(ancestors of), whom I knew had gone to Manitoba, and then I discovered another whole section of the family, had gone to Manitoba too, in later years.
My family came to Canada, in the mid 1820's, John Edwards Sr. bn. 1793 and his younger brother, Nathaniel Edwards, bn. 1795.

1st. John "Jack" Edwards Jr.(bn.1839)son of John and Lovina Edwards in Hope Twp. Durham County Ontario Canada. He married Sarah Foster in Mitchell Ontario in 1866 and they moved to Manitoba back in 1877,where the first settlers in Gladstone, later moving to Dauphin, Manitoba. I have just reached one of his ancestors. He had four boys, two girls. 1.James, 2.George, 3.Annie, 4. Benjamin, 5.Harry, and Jane "Jessie".
2nd. George Edwards, (bn.1842) son of Nathaniel and Maria Edwards in Hope Twp. Durham County Ontario Canada. George's father Nathaniel is a brother of John Edwards Sr. and his mother Maria (Culver) is a sister of Lovina(Culver), John's wife. It was quite common then for two brothers to marry two sisters. George married Anne Marie Bye, in 1865 and because they are both buried in Carman Manitoba, I believe that they moved there. They had 7 children, all born in Ontario.

Thomas Nathaniel Edwards bn. 1866, in Hope Twp. Ontario, married 1st. Mary Ann (Polly) Popay in 1893, and had 5 children, the last 2 noted as being born in Manitoba.
1.William Goeorge (Bill)Edwards bn 1894
2.Louis Charles (Lou) Edwards bn 1895
3.Bertha Edwards bn. 1899,
4.Ernest Edwards bn. 1900, Hilton, Manitoba
5.Bessie Edwards bn. 1901, Carman, Manitoba
Mary Ann, the Mother died in 1901 in Hilton, Manitoba

Married 2nd. Jane (Jenny) Landles in 1903 and had 2 children
1.Margaret (Peg) Edwards bn. 1905
2.Robert (Bob) Charles Edwards bn. 1908 in Rosiele, Manitoba
