Hello Darcy,
I appreciate your response to my quest for family to John and Sarah Edwards in Dauphin. We did correspond about the reunion, and it's too bad couldn't have connected some how. In what the family has offered about John and Sarah, the Jackson family in Mitchell area, seems to have noted some carrying on by John, and /or an additional family. They mentioned that they thought Sarah had died in 1892, in Dauphin and is buried out there either in town or at the farm. Bette from the Ancestory.com sent me information on the 1901 census, bringing a wife named Mary, aged 55, into the scene, her birth year is not the same as Sarah, and if Sarah indeed did die, in 1892 then that is possible that John did remarry after her death. It is possible too that there was no hanky panky, and the distance only played to enhance the rumours. However Sarah's sister may have had some letters from Sarah, pouring her heart out to her sister. Is it possible, that such letters exist.
I would like to share with you what I have, I had it all on file in Family Tree Maker, and then the worst happened and the computer fixer, did not salvage that file. I have all and more on hard copy, and can send you more by regular email or do you want me to send it to you here. I use my other email address and I believe that is how we communicated before.
upupandaway@hurontel.on.ca Thank you again, Sincerely,
