In the book called "Silver Creek, Odds and Sods, 1884-1984" there is a story on The Matthew and Charlotte BRECKENRIDGE Family on page 170-171. Story was submitted by Mrs. Gertrude MOULSON. Here is the beginning.

Friday, two days after Christmas, in 1889, Matthew BRECKENRIDGE (age 27 yrs) and Charlotte SIDWELL (age 25 years) were married in Wiarton, County of Bruce, Ont. They came to Mentieth, Man., southwest of Souris, where their first son, Roy, was born in 1892. They then moved to the John SEEBACH homestead on the S.W. 1/4 of 14-19-26 in the municipality of Silver Creek, seven miles south, one and one half miles east of Argusville.
