Sorry. Just seeing your message now. Are you asking about Steve Melnychuk from Fort Frances, Ontario (born in Canora, Sask)? If so, what was your mother's maiden name?

Does anyone have any geneology information on Paraska Waskul Drohomereski? Paraska Waskul was born in 1874 in Galicia, Austria, and came to Canada in 1897/1898 with her husband Mikel (Michael) Drohomereski (1870-1948). They settled in the area of Teulon, Manitoba, Canada. Paraska died in 1953. Michael and Paraska had 13 children listed here in no particular birth order: Mary, Dorothy, Wasyl, Anne, Norman, Alex, Michael, Leona, Jean, Winifred, Joseph, Pearl, and Peter. Any informaton on Paraska's parents, etc. as well as her children (birth, death, marriages) would be most appreciated. Some of her children changed their last name to Demery-Jean, Norman and Pearl for sure. Thank you!

I don't know either of you, but I have a grandfather and ggrandfather who were supposed to be from Molodia, Bukovina. My grandfather was Wasyl Serediak, born 15 Feb 1887 and my GGrandfather was Teodor Serediak, born abt 1861 of Molodia. My Ggrandmother was Dounyka Matijchuk, born abt 1865 of Molodia. One of Teodor and Dounyka's children, Maria Serediak married a John Lehun in 1912 in Alberta, Canada. If you know any information about these individuals with similar names to those you are looking for, I would greatly appreciate any help that you can give me.
Thanks, Patt Angell
