Great Grandmother Jessie Quesnel D 17 August 1958
I am looking for information regarding my great grandmother. She was born in Scotland in 1884 not sure of date of immigration but she married James Nisbet and lived in Ft. Garry. They had one daughter (my grandmother) Jean who married George D. Lusk. My Great Grandad James passed in 1941 i believe. Grandma Jessie remarried to a Quesnel at some point. And all I have is that his last name was Quesnel. I can not find any information as to when they married his first name, etc. the only thing I have to go on is from the book from her funeral. He is not mentioned anywhere and I can not find an obiturary. My mom has passed as has her mother. I have no other family to ask. If anyone out there knows of any Quesnels in the Portage area please let me know or point me to the place where i can find out all this information. I do know that my Grandparent George and Jean (Nesbit) Lusk had a farm in the Portage area at the time. I was born approx 9mos later in Portage so I am very interested in finding out who this man was. Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Great Grandmother Jessie Quesnel D 17 August 1958
Hi !! Thank you for replying to my query. I was totally stumped as to what his name was. All the information I had did not mention his name anywhere. I have loads of pics of my great grandmother and William but was confused cause I knew James Nisbet (1st husband) had passed in 41. So thank you for clearing up a mystery for me now I can continue on in my research.
Thanks Cindy Great Granddaughter of Jessie Quesnel
