Brandon Sun, MB May 23, GREENSHIELDS: The death of Ronald Adair Greenshields occurred at the Assiniboine Centre, Thursday, May 18, 1995. Mr. Greenshields was born in the RM of Louise, Oct. 18, 1923, one of two children born to Robert and Bessie Greenshields. He received his education at Mowbray, MB, where he also worked the family farm during World War 2. In 1955 he married Donna Harrison and together they raised seven children. As well as farming, Mr. Greenshields was involved in oil production and also worked for some time with Patmore Nurseries following retirement. Predeceased by a brother, Robert in 1967. Survived by wife Donna and 7 children. Burial at Rosewood Memorial Gardens,Brandon.

Friday, March 15 at St. Paul's
United Church, Virden, with interment in Westlawn Mem- orial Gardens, Brandon. Rev. S. A. Walmsley officiated. Mr. Greenshields was born in Cree- town, Scotland, a n d came; to Canada in 1906. He took up farm- ing in the Crystal City area until illness forced his retirement in 1945. He had resided with his son Ronald in the Virden district up until the time of his passing. Besides his wife Bessie, he is survived by two sons, Ronald, of Elkhorn, and Robert, of Win- nipeg; one brother. Hugh, of Scotland and four grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Adelor
Olsen. Jack Gallant, Victor Mc- Kinley, Wilf Mather. Duncan Me- Innis and Jim Hayes. Lee's Funeral Home, Virden. was in charge of arrangements.
Bessie died in November, 1973 but her obit isn't online.
