Thanks to anyone that can give any help or direction. ,
I'm told that my grandmother was the person who stood on a circular board, when the handle was pulled, it would spin and someone would throw knives at the moving; circulating; disc.
Is there anyway to find out if she started this in Ontario, which is where I believe she is from, before coming to the sates, in Wayne Co. MI.
How can I find out more about a circus that had been going around?
She would have been very young either way- she was married @ 16 yrs in MI, 1931.
There was a story in the family that Daisy and her mother walked across the frozen water to get into the states. Is this possible?
She may have Native American heritage as well.
Her parents were:
father-
James E. Walker b.1876 Quebec- d.1944-CA
mother; either Gladis Matthews
or; Gladys Hollibaugh
::Daisy;
b.1914 not sure where/
married; age 16, MI 1931 to Lavern Singleton
son; Leo b.1931
daughter; Donna b.1933
divorced: no date
remarried; Walter Jackson/Ohio
2 daughters; Barbara and Rose
death-1942 Muskegon MI
If anyone can help, I so appreciate this!
Thanks-
