The above James was born 1817 at Kirknewton, Scotland to James Wilson and Agnes Paterson. I believe it was this James who m. Margaret Barclay 1851, reg at Edinburgh and Crichton. Nothing more heard of him, but several rumours suggest he went to Canada.
Just this week I read where he supposedly went to Vancouver mid 1850's.
