Seems like many of the men from the British Isles divided in family. I have a branch of ancestors who did this from Cornwall, England. One branch came here to Vancouver Island while a brother and family moved to Tasmania. My gr gr grandfather Edwin Joseph Rosman settled just outside Victoria in 1854-55, while his brother settled in Tasmania at the same time. The brother's name was Edgar Rosman. Both brothers played active roles in helping settle their community.

Small world today, even though it was much bigger back then.
