I have traced a distant cousin Carrie Elizabeth Gibson, born 1881 Ontario, who married Harold Wesley Sharp, born 1887 in Port Hope Ontario, on 15 Oct 1910 in Toronto, Ontario.
Harold died 19 Feb 1949 in Duncan, BC and Carrie died 28 May 1980 in Victoria (I think that she was at a retirement residence/nursing home). They are together in Peace at the Royal Oak Burial Park, Falaise Dr, Victoria.

Harold's parents were Sylvester James Sharp, a ticket agent for various ship liners, and Melissa Platten. Syvester's father was Walter Sharp born in the USA and Mary Ann Weston of Ontario. Melissa's parents were Thomas Platten of England and Maria Dulmage of Quebec.

Carrie was one of two daughters of John Woodcock Gibson, barrister in London, Ontario and Mary Gibbard of Ontario, and the only one to marry. John Woodcock Gibson is the brother of my gg grandfather Stephen Gibson. They both emigrated to Canada from St Martins, Isles of Scilly, England, studied and became barristers.

I would dearly love to hear from any descendants of Carrie and Harolds.
