Re: Looking for Alfred Brewer from Vancouver Island
Hi Matthew,
Sorry I can't be of help - but
checked the Online White Pages Directory MyTelus.com
http://www.mytelus.com/phonebook/index.do
searched for the BREWER surname in British Columbia.
There is an A.BREWER in Saanich B.C. and an A BREWER in Victoria B.C.
There are 223 BREWER surnames in British Columbia.
Perhaps Family Connected???? Since the name is the same - perhaps a family member or even your grandfather?
There was a marriage of Alfred.BREWER 1924 -Kamloops B.C.
A death
Alfred BREWER Age:80 Event:Death
Place Vernon Date:1979 10 2 (Yr/Mo/Day)
Reg. Number:1979-09-014865
Microfilm #:B13598 (GSU # 2051382)
The Death Registration will show personal information - Including the name of the Informant-etc.
There may have been an Obituary published. This may show names of other family members and their locations.
perhaps a lead .
Volunteers who search Public Record - can view, transcribe and copy the information found in the death regs.
Some will search for Obituaries - others offer Cemetery Photo's
