Hiya Stella

Thanks for taking the time to look up members of my extended family.
I knew that an obituary for Loyd was published in the Vancouver Sun on 30 Oct 2001. I may find out a little more about that next month when I visit my cousin in Belfast. Her Mum kept in regular phone contact with Loyd, her and my dad's cousin, over many years.
I was particularly pleased with the details you gave me for Loyd. He never married, possibly due to the nature of his job. That is, as a mining engineer, he spent a lot of time travelling the world, sometimes staying in very 'out of the way' places on extended contracts - circumstances hardly conducive to marriage. It is somehow nice to know that at the end of his life, he was buried near his mom and dad.
Take care
John
