I have notes for the Baynes lake cemetery but there is nothing for the name Cardiff. BUT there are quite a few unnamed burial sites. I will see if anyone from Baynes Lake has more specific info.

Also, I doubt that James Cardiff was born in 1878 in Waldo, B.C as I do not believe the community existed then and..

this seems to be him in Renfrew county in 1881 with his parents??:
1. James A. CARDIFF - 1881 Canadian Census / Ontario
Gender: Male Birth: <1877> Ontario

Hello there! My father was Born in Waldo and is buried in the cemetery in Rooseville just atop the hill there's a lot of family members(Gorrie's etc), and people from the area buried there.. It is just before the Border Crossing into Eureka, Montana to the left theres a dirt road that goes right up the hill to it. I'm not sure who looks after it.

Hi Just a thought . Do you know what Religion your family practiced.?
Or What church was available in the area at the time of the birth/ death:

Perhaps the twins were baptised - or given some sort of service
It is quite possible that the babies may not even have been given names

There was an Anglican Church at Waldo but I am not sure if this early. Records may be searchable.

Also wondering if any of the posters have old photos of the area and what family names they connect to.
