The name of Paul PIKE - appears at the B.C. Cemetery Finding Aid site - with a reference number -of contact.
Checked Provincial Archive of B.C. Vital Events Index - Deaths 1872 - 1982 - with 0 results.
which suggests that Paul PIKE passed away after 1982 - or - that he passed away - outside of the Province of B.C. - but is buried here.

for the PIKE surname - perhaps some family still in Vernon or surrounding area.
