yes to all of those questions. Frank was my husband's grandfather, and he lived and died here in Seattle, Wa.
He did become an American Citizen and we have his papers, etc.
I will try that contact in Penticton.
Frank was a Canadian Citizen. I have not been able to access those records or find out where he entered from Austria. He came across Canada on the train.
