Re: Looking for family from Roosville Stocks/Bennet/Beddard
Hi Jessica,
I found this in a local history book "South Country History Book A Valley Remembered" this book is copyright 2006 by the
Baynes Lake Senior Book Club
RR#1
Elko, B.C.
V0B 1J0
page 175:
'John Stocks brought his family to Roosville by wagon in 1912. They lived on the property that later became the Charlie Weed place, now Wes Thompson's. He was employed the Western Pine Lumber Company as a logger.' This information is from the Grasmere Hall Picture Wall.
Good luck on your quest.
