My mother-in-law was born in Thrums, B.C. Her name was Nester (Nesta, Esther) PEREPOLKIN (1913-1999). She was the daughter of John Nicholas PEREPOLKIN (1896-1958) and Laura (Nora) PERVEREEFF, PEREVERSOFF (1894-1946. John Nicholas's father was Nicholas PEREPOLKIN (1873- ?) married to Margaret SOUKEREEFF, SOUKEROFF ( 1874-1935). Margaret's father was William SOUKEREEFF, who died in Thrums in 1912. Laura PERVEREEFF's father was Andrew PERVEREEFF (1874-1936) married 1) Nora ZBITNIFF (??), 2) Hannah REIBEN (??). Esther (Nester)'s people came from Threpinia, Caucasus, Russia. Am willing to share the oral history and stories that Esther told me. Also my husband and I are willing to help anyone search their Doukhobour roots here in B. C.
